  • Styrofoam
  • Geometric pins
  • Toothpick
  • Computer
Exercise:
  • Create Rebop with blueprints from allele envelopes
  • Find the Rebop's parents
  • Mate your Rebop
  • Use computer for Karyology exercise 
  • Collect data
  • Wonder why a college charges you $50,000 a year to play with styrofoam and toothpicks.
Gel Electrophoresis:

Materials Needed:

  • Procell electrophoresis apparatus
  • Gel molds
  • Combs
  • Power units
  • Buffer
  • Gel
Exercise:
  • Run the gels
  • Take necessary data
  • Wonder why a college that had the funds to do a gel electrophoresis lab STILL makes you make dolls out of styrofoam and toothpicks.

  • Wax pencils

  • Lite and Regular pancake syrup

Lab 3: Diffusion & Osmosis

  • Ink/charcoal
  • Agar
  • IKI
  • Methylene Blue
  • Thistle tube
  • Cheap perfume
Exercise:
  • Observe Brownian Movement with ink/charcoal
  • Observe molecular diffusion of various states
  • Observe the variables involved in diffusion and osmosis, such as temperature and wind speed
  • Collect data for each experiment and analyze accordingly
